Purpose of the chair back static load tester:
Use the block to lean against the foot side of the chair or stool. Select the corresponding test level of the product, and load the load specified in Appendix B 10 times perpendicular to the chair back through the chair back loading pad. When loading, the balance load on the seat surface should be loaded to the seat surface loading point determined by the loading template. The balance force is generally 750N (75kg). If there is a tendency to tip over, increase the balance force until the chair is just prevented from tipping over, and record the balance force. The loading position is at the lower of the following two positions:
--The chair back loading point determined by the loading template;
--On the longitudinal axis of the chair back, 100mm below the top of the chair back.
For specimens with two or three chair backs, according to the above provisions, load as follows;
--The specimen with two chair backs is loaded at two and two chair back loading points at the same time 10 times;
For the specimen with three chair backs, load 10 times at any side and the middle chair back at the same time.
Each loading force is maintained for at least 10s.
The static load of the chair back should not be less than 410N.
The test piece footrest is a rectangular stool. Regardless of the shape of the seat surface, the force should be applied to the front edge of the seat surface corresponding to the midpoint of each side adjacent to the rectangular footrest 5 times each. If the test piece footrest is a triangular stool, the force should be applied 5 times each along the center line direction of any two sides.
At the end of the test, remove the force acting on the backrest first, and then remove the force acting on the seat surface. Check the overall structure of the specimen, record and evaluate.
