Bending tests are commonly used in various raw material and finished product inspection tests. Therefore, different bending fixtures need to be designed and produced according to the different shapes and sizes of each sample, the required ambient temperature and the different test standards to be followed.

According to different materials and test standards, conventional bending fixtures are divided into three categories: V-type die bending fixtures, vise bending fixtures and stick bending fixtures. However, there are also many special bending fixtures produced due to special test requirements.

It can be divided into three-point tensile bending and four-point tensile bending, which are often used for testing composite materials. The most common application is tensile bending fatigue test.
